We understand how important it is for parents to find information sources they trust, which is why we want to introduce you to  The National Parenting Center,  which delivers responsible parenting advice to parents and caregivers all over the United States. Much of this advice is supplied by respected authorities in the field such as doctors, child psychologists, and authors. With the trusted information that comes from TNPC, the center has been authorized to provide valuable, helpful recommendations to as many parents as possible.

Candid Parenting Advice for All

By visiting TNPC’s website, you will find an informative portal in which parents can read information on all stages of child rearing and development. From pregnancy to adolescence, all stages of having and raising a child are covered. For example, the toddler section includes great reads on sharing toys, biting, nutrition, and schedules while the pre-teen section covers bullying, reading, and report cards.

Not only can parents visit TNPC’s website for support and advice, but they can also personally reach out to the panel of parenting experts. With the interactive systems available (i.e. letters, transcripts, brochures, etc.), parents have dozens of opportunities to connect with child development experts.

The Seal of Approval Program: What You Need to Know

As any modern parent knows, the internet is filled with advice, and not all of it is trustworthy. Thanks to The National Parenting Center, parents and caregivers know they are receiving responsible advice. This is what makes the Seal of Approval program a trusted source.

The Seal of Approval program is an independent testing process The Stair Barrier is honored to be a part of!

When a new product is introduced to the market, it can be tested by the National Parenting Center. The process takes a full eight weeks to complete and is executed by a team of volunteers that includes parents, children, and educators. During this process, the volunteers interact with the product in as many ways as possible such as by building with it or playing with it.

After the product has been tested, the participants fill out questionnaires that cover areas such as durability, sturdiness, safety, stimulation, and more. If a product is judged to be a quality product, it is given the Seal of Approval.

The Stair Barrier has a simple but important goal: to keep children and pets off the stairs. It’s stylish, durable, and easy to use. You can find a full write-up from the National Parenting Center here and what testers thought about our product!
